Wisdom & Positivity tips

Living with Parkinson's with wisdom and a positive outlook

One of my Wisdom & Positivity tips is to learn all you can. Parkinson’s is a tricky disease. It’s so much more than tremors and shuffling and that can catch people by surprise.

Another tip is to focus on the Five Pillars of Wellbeing with Parkinson’s (it actually works for anyone.) I learned this at a Symposium hosted by the Parkinson’s Foundation:

  • Exercise
  • Hydration
  • Sleep
  • Socialization
  • Hobbies

The Gulf Coast chapter of the Parkinson’s Foundation has two Moving Day walks scheduled in April: Mobile, Alabama on April 12 and Baton Rouge, Louisiana on April 26.

There are others all around the country. Check out these events at movingday.org and get more wisdom and positivity from the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org or at the Parkinson’s Foundation HELPLINE 1-800-473-4626.

Thank you for a wonderful product. I shared it with another care partner just yesterday.
